Hi friends, and welcome back to the blog! Today I have something kind of different to share with you – but nonetheless exciting.

I recently was asked to read Russell Brunson’s new book, Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers.

I gladly accepted as anything that deals with helping me increase my blog’s traffic is something I am immediately interested in.

My Personal Experience with Russell Brunson’s New Book

For those of you who are new to the blogging world – or the social media world – you may not have ever heard of Russell Brunson.

Who Is Russell Brunson?

Russell Brunson is an American entrepreneur and co-founder of a $100 million dollar software company named Clickfunnels. He is a best-selling author and has sold hundreds of thousands of books, primarily on the topic of sales funnels (you can read my sales funnel blog post by going here).

Today, I want to share with you my authentic personal experience thus far with Traffic Secrets. I have not yet finished the entire book (I am currently only on day 6) but will share with you my thoughts and experience with it thus far.

Initial Thoughts On The Book

For starters, I will say that I was a bit taken aback by the Foreword and Introduction to the book – both sections are rather lengthy and not necessarily easy-reads. If you have recently picked up this book, do not be turned away from these sections alone; I promise you it gets better.

Once I started on Section 1, I immediately saw that this was going to be a much easier read than I initially anticipated. I love that this book is set up as a 30-Day Challenge with a purpose of teaching you key strategies to increase your blog traffic.

One Key Point To Note

A key point that is mentioned in Traffic Secrets over and over again is that one of the biggest mistakes entrepreneurs make is that they don’t realize that putting yourself out there so that others can find you is one of the first, and most important, keys to success.

You can have the best idea for a business – and even the prettiest, most attractive business model and business structure – but if people cannot find you, your business will never take off.

Brunson goes over exactly how to set yourself up so that others can find you – and I can tell you that he does this right away, as I am only on Day 6 and already have a list of items I need to do to get people to find me more easily.

Giving Away Secrets

I won’t go over all the Secrets to the book (because, hey, Brunson wants you to buy the book to find out of course) but I will share with you Secret #1 – because I think this is something we can all do without having any other resources in front of us.

Secret #1 is: Finding out who your dream customer is. As stated in the book: “each business needs to understand their dream customer avatars better than the customers know themselves.”

How To Find Your Dream Customer

This is huge! But I can tell you, as someone who is always researching strategies to improve her blog content and traffic, this is on point. Finding out who your dream customer is – and getting to know them (really getting to know them) is so important as an entrepreneur.

But how do you get to know them? Well, one way I have found that really works is by being involved in Facebook Groups that hone in on your dream customer. You can learn so much from Facebook Groups alone (and Brunson goes over this in Traffic Secrets, too, just so you know).

So far, I really am enjoying this book. I love how each chapter is a new secret that can help me drive more traffic to my blog – and that it’s written in easy-to-understand language (not the type of language you think an entrepreneur in the software and book business would be using).

I also like that this is set up as an interactive book, with various tasks that you can complete along the way, to get you closer and closer to driving the maximum amount of traffic to your blog.

Order Your Copy Today

You can actually go ahead and order the book Traffic Secrets as pre-orders shipped starting May 5, 2020.
