10+ Fall Soup Recipes that are Easy, Healthy, & Delicious

I don’t know about you, but when I think “fall,” one of the first things I think of are warm, comforting, delicious & hearty soups. Anyone else?

We’ve had a few soups in our meal plan for the past several months that are totally “fall-esque” and I want to share those with you as well as some other fall soup recipes I have found to be super easy and healthy!

Before we get started, I just know you will love these recent posts of mine:

Also, I would love it if you SHARED this post with others on Pinterest, Facebook, or Twitter! Thank you!

Now, let’s get to it!

10+ Fall Soup Recipes that are Easy, Healthy, & Delicious

Before we get started with the delicious fall soup recipes, I want to invite you to check out my “Weeknight Dinners” board on Pinterest. This is where all of my meal planning meals are found before they make their way into my meal planning binder.

I have a video that I made on exactly how I meal plan using this Pinterest board & my binder, so check it out if you’d like to see how I do it.

I also have this blog post on 10 easy tips on meal planning for a plant-based family. You may find that useful, too.

We are a mostly-plant-based family (My son Harrison and I are 100% plant-based, while my husband & stepsons are about 70% plant-based) – and every single dinner meal we make is vegan.

If you want to read more about my vegan journey, or anything vegan-related, check out all of my vegan posts by going here now.

Now, let’s get to the yummy fall soup recipes!

1. Butternut Squash Chili (Vegan)

fall soup recipe butternut squash chili

This chili is one of my absolute favorites. It’s also one of my husband Eric’s favorites to make! We rotate this in our meal plan quite frequently and I can tell you – it never gets old.

It is hearty, warm, flavorful, healthy, and just overall delicious! You have to check it out. I found it on The Simple Veganista and you can head there now to grab the recipe!

2. Sweet Potato & Quinoa Chili

sweet potato chili

When it comes to fall soup recipes, one of my favorite ingredients is sweet potato! I feel like you just can’t go wrong with fall soup recipes when they require sweet potato.

This recipe is another staple on our meal planning list – it’s another one by The Simple Veganista and is just amazing.

It’s a little spicier than the butternut squash chili, and definitely full of more fiber (so beware, haha!) but is just as good (if not better).

Highly recommend heading to The Simple Veganista and snagging this recipe while you can!

3. Vegan White Bean Soup

This next recipe, by Healthier Steps, is another one that is from my Pinterest “Weeknight Dinners” board and is perfect for anyone who loves fall soup recipes that contain lots of beans!

This one is made with white beans, as well as other healthy, delicious vegetables, and is absolutely perfect for the crisp, cool fall air that we will be experiencing soon!

4. Cozy Autumn Wild Rice Soup

Not vegan, but this cozy-looking wild rice soup is one I just couldn’t pass up linking here! I feel like wild rice soups scream fall soup recipes!

I can only imagine sipping this soup while sitting in my favorite cozy chair by the fire with a beautiful buffalo plaid blanket on. Seriously.

This is from Gimme Some Oven and I know you will just love it! Check it out by heading here now.

5. Easy Crockpot Chicken-Noodle-Soup

chicken noodle soup

Even though I don’t eat chicken, I couldn’t leave you hanging without including an amazing chicken noodle soup recipe in this list of fall soup recipes!

If chicken noodle soup doesn’t mean fall and fall soup recipes, I don’t know what does!

This would be a perfect weeknight meal to prep in the morning and have ready in the crockpot by dinner time!

6. Seafood and Sausage Stew

seafood and sausage stew

I feel like this next recipe on the list of fall soup recipes will be one you will either love or hate, simply put!

This is a seafood & sausage stew from CountryLiving, and I must say, even though I don’t eat meat, just the sound of it alone was enough to make my mouth water!

I think this would be the perfect fall soup for anyone who lives near the coast – it incorporates enough seafood to make you reminisce about summer yet ties in sausage and stew to make you feel as though you’re living in the fall.

Check this stew recipe out by going to Country Living now!

7. Chunky Tomato-Red Pepper Soup

chunky tomato-red pepper soup

I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love recipes wherein tomatoes and red pepper are combined for max flavors. If you’re the same, then you’ll love the next soup on the list of fall soup recipes!

This is a chunky tomato-red pepper soup from, again, CountryLiving, and what I love most about this recipe is how easy it would be to make it completely plant-based. All you would need to do is substitute the butter and cheese in the recipe for plant-based butter and cheese. Easy peasy.

8. Creamy Corn Chowder

creamy corn chowder

Again, this recipe is not plant-based, but one of my all-time favorite soups is corn chowder. I seriously cannot get enough. And, corn chowder is pretty much the perfect soup to list in a fall soup recipes list!

This corn chowder recipe is from Good Housekeeping, and as they say on the page, “Consider this creamy potato, onion, and corn soup comfort in a bowl.” Absolutely.

9. Savory Pumpkin and Sage Soup

Okay, friends, I think I may have found the most “fall-esque” soup of them all: this savory pumpkin and sage soup from Good Housekeeping.

This soup is like fall in a bowl. Really. And guess what? It is 100% plant-based! How awesome is that?

This is one you are going to have to try if you are looking for delicious fall soup recipes. Trust me on this one!

10. Slow-Cooker Smoky Black Bean Soup

black bean soup

Most all of the soups I’ve listed in this fall soup recipes list are healthy soups. This last one is no exception. This is a smoky black bean soup, courtesy of Woman’s Day, and is one we absolutely have to try like – tonight (haha).

Made with black beans, beer, tomatoes, cumin, and more, this is the perfect slightly-spicy, slightly-smoky, super healthy soup to add to your list of fall soup recipes.

Also, something else I love about this soup is that it is super easy to make plant-based – all you need to do is sub vegetable broth for chicken broth and soyrizo for chorizo, and done! Completely plant-based!
