8 Home Office Organization Hacks that are Insanely Unique
“For every minute spent on organization, an hour is earned.”Benjamin Franklin
Imagine if you woke up one day and your work desk at home looked systematic and organized. What a lovely sight, right? I am sure you would feel like rushing to your desk and starting your day with a bang!
However, sometimes maintaining an equilibrium between work, household chores, and family can take a toll on you – and home office organization may often be at the very bottom of your to do list. Let’s be honest and face it – things get messy with time (even your home workspace) and you might feel that having superhero capabilities is the only thing that can help you tidy up and organize it.
Guess what? I am going to grant you those superpowers. There are some insanely unique and genius home office organization hacks that will make you look like an unbeaten “Guardian of Organization” and arrange your workspace in a jiffy!
So are you ready? Here goes…
1. Murphy’s Law for Desk Prodigy
Space is the term which is the game-changer in the words ‘home workspace’. Just like without the word ‘space’ the meaning of the word completely changes, similarly, in realtime without adequate space – your home office may start looking cramped!
To avoid this, investing in a murphy desk is a smart option. A murphy desk is a foldable table and can give you ample space for your little makeshift home office ensemble.
This is one of the organizing hacks for small spaces that can do wonders for you and help you become a home office desk prodigy!
2. Whip-Smart Charging Dock
Tired of seeing wires strewn everywhere on your desk? Just whip up your own charging dock (or buy one like this online)! It’s really simple to create one.
Take an old shoebox, cover it with some fun patterned paper, and carve out holes for the wires on one side – that’s it.
Once you are done, you can keep your charging port extension inside the box and pull out the wires through the holes. You can add some extra oomph to your home office organization and workspace as your very own customized charging station is now ready!
3. Born to Go Memo-Boarding!
Do you like keeping small memos in and around your home workspace? Now there is a home for these, it’s called a memo board. These boards are checkered or crisscrossed and they come in a variety of colors and metallic finishes.
You can clip your daily memos on to them and save the time you put behind searching for your pile of memo notes.
A memo board can also be called a “board of reminisced memorabilia” as you can clip your favorite photos that you would like to cherish forever on to it.
4. Wondrous Wood-Clipped Wires
Wires, wires everywhere…let’s turn them into beautiful coils twirled on the ground!
Every home office has ample binder clips and I am sure you have some too.
To organize your wires you just need to arrange all your cords into separate coils and clip them with a binder clip. Now the wires are out of sight and out of your mind.
Alternatively, you can use bright printed binder clips in the same fashion to add a pop of color.
5. Let The Screen Rise Up!
If you are concentrating on space management more than organization, this hack will take you by surprise.
You need to mount your screen/laptop on a higher table on your desk. Not just any table – this hack will work if you have a deep bridge styled table or a rising stand.
In this way, you can empty up space where your actual screen/laptop
would have rested.
So, take your home office organization workspace design to the next level and let your screen rise sky high!
6. The Multi-Faceted Desktop Organizer
A multi-use desktop organizer is one of the home office organization hacks that is completely inevitable. It allows you to adjust multiple things and organize them accurately.
You will be able to arrange accordion files, binders, memo notes, pens,
and stationery if you decide to invest in one.
Above all of that – if you happen to choose the pretty colored and vibrant printed organizers it can add a touch of intricate decor to your workspace.
7. Planners Are My Thing!
This is a hack for home office organization to the core! Using a planner to
note every errand, task or work goal helps you in making sure you meet
the deadlines you have set for yourself.
Not only that but they come in eye-catching colors and striking patterns which you will definitely drool over.
If you are not a big fan of writing on paper, you can choose digital planners for your goal setting.
Planners are sure to provide you stress relief if you get anxious while working as you can breathe a sigh of relief when you strike off tasks that are done.
8. Adding Some Floral Bliss
This is the final touch you need to add to give your home workspace a
hint of bloom.
Adding some flowers like peonies or orchids on your work desk can freshen you with their fragrance. If you are a plant lover you can incorporate some small planters or cute succulents as a part of your home workspace design.
If your office is really messy, and you are looking for organizing hacks on
a budget, these will help you set your workspace in order. Moreover, you
will also enjoy and look forward to working in your renewed workspace.
